The video clips below are excerpted from a presentation to Oregon Tax Research in October 2002. The forecast has changed since then, but not Bill's humor or common-sense explanations of complex economics.

The video clips below are from a presentation November 2010 for the Washington Forest Protection Association. The window will show excerpts, but dragging the time marker will allow you to watch the entire presentation.

The video clips are available in either Macromedia Flash format, or Windows Media Video (WMV) format.  The Flash clips are better quality, but will take longer to load.  The Flash clips will play in this page, whereas the Windows Media Video clips will open in whatever application is configured on your computer to play WMV files.

To view the clips in Flash format, you will need the Macromedia Flash Player, which is available at no charge for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

To view the clips in Windows Media Video (WMV) format, you can download Windows Media Player, which is available at no charge for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
Windows Media Video troubleshooting: If clicking on the link does not bring the file up with both picture and sound, try right clicking and choose "Open in New Window." If that doesn't work, try saving to disk, then opening the file (double-click).

 

Also, if you see ads for news and music videos after you open a video clip, do the following: on the bottom window, where Bill's picture is, click the "Player" options and unselect "open in tool bar."
